Voice Over Services

So who is G. Douglas Gilmour?

Ministry was the original intention, direction and occupation of my life. On the way there, however, I got involved in the selling business. That came around again when I stepped down from the full time occupation of ministry. I stepped away from the professional ministry, due in part, to the death of our 4 ½ yr old daughter who was killed in a traffic accident.

My skill sets thereafter were largely applied to the sales and sales management arena for office equipment, telecommunications and real estate companies which all included personally selling as well as the hiring, training, monitoring, and motivating of other sales people.

Even though my profession was not full time ministry we continued to voluntarily help people through their pain and overcome those situations which had befell them. We taught our course, Navigating Through the Storms of Life, over the years and that course utilizes many stories with which the audience can identify to ease their pain.

Through that process I discovered that my voice was used to help people believe, love and laugh again. The stories I have found and shared, including our own, help others see how they can make it and have hope for a better future. I have also discovered my greatest fortune was being united with the woman of my dreams in September of 1973 who has since brought 3 awesome children into this world.

Since 2002, I have also been used to convey other people’s needs and stories through TV, radio, industrial training films and the internet. I initially received training from Rev. Londa Lundstrom Ramsey who spent over 30 years with her Evangelistic parents, traveling the nation and co-writing and producing about 600 songs plus TV shows and radio broadcasts. Subsequently I studied under and continue training with Donald Cosgrove who runs The Talent Center in St Paul, MN as well as with Ben Larson at Duke Larson Productions.

My hope and goal is to help people "Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth."
